Choirs & Music

Our Expanded Choir on Christmas Eve
When words aren't enough, there's always music and singing! We at Christ Lutheran Church embrace our Lutheran tradition of singing and celebrate the gifts of song and music that God gives us. Our worship involves ancient hymns, a masterful organ, beautiful pianos, guitars, flutes, and Christian rock. Music is an awesome way to proclaiming and share God's love for us - and we do so every chance we get.
Our 9 AM singers
Led by David Scance, our 9 AM worship uses Contemporary Christian music to share the gospel. Chris Tomlin, Brian Doerksen, Darlene Zschech, Michael Frye, are just some of the artists we feature. Guitar and the musical talents of three women in our congregation lead us in song. Feel free to throw your arms up in praise and let the guitar-backed music show God's love in your life.

Chancel Choir
3 out of 4 Sundays a month at 10:30 am worship, our Chancel Choir offers their songs to God. Led by our Director of Music
Argine Safari, the group consists of dedicated volunteers who lead the congregation in song and offer their own song of worship and praise during the service. Titles of pieces recently sung include Panis Angelicus, We Love to Tell The Story, You Are Mind, O God Beyond All Praising, and more. The Chancel Choir rehearses Wednesdays Nights at 7:30 pm and at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings. All who love to sing are welcome to join! Contact Argine at

Children and Youth Choirs
We have two choirs for children who sing once a month at our 10:30 am worship service. Our choirs are led by David Scance and rehearse on Wednesdays at 5 pm. For more information, contact David at

The Sunday School Singers is filled with the youngest singers. From the age 3 and up, they sing songs about God's love and the joy we have being part of God's world. Rehearsal takes place for a few minutes before Sunday Schoole each Sunday. Choir members learn how to sing, recite music, work as a team, and have a lot of fun doing it!

The Choristers Choir are for the older singers, age 8 and up. Contemporary music is a mainstay of what they sing. They further singing together as a group with plenty of opportunities for solos and ways to stand out from the crowd.
